I really found this version to stay true to the original version we all love on the SNES. Besides the addition of a few extra things to do after the final boss, more espers, and a graphical face-lift, this revamp stays true to the original. Although the controls take a little time to get used to, it is only a small drawback. Gameplay is super fun and the story is just incredible. Overall not too difficult of a game with a little bit of common sense. 100% worth the money in my opinion, been playing nonstop since I bought it last summer. Currently on my third playthrough.

Please fix the controls they are more frustrating then fun anymore. The disappearing d pad is horrible. Please please fix this issue its ruined the game on ios for me and i know others as well

The people who are complaining about the d-pad and mechanics are babies. The touch D-pad is better than most games. If it really bothers you. Equip sprint shoes. The battle mechanics can be modified under options. Explore and test which one works for you. The updated sprites are not as bad as people say. They eventually grow one you. Threw 35+ hours in this game. Definitely worth playing and enjoying.

One of the major points of this game update for ios was the use of game saves to the cloud. Sadly thats gone and therefore the game is now useless. The second I update my device or buy a new one boom saves are gone. iCloud saves will simply not connect to the cloud to allow upload or download. They should fix this so people can play as the game originally mentioned. Horrible and cant play until they do fix it, doubt they ever will. -update- still broken after May update.

One of the greatest games ever made for Snes, and still my favorite of all of the Final Fantasy titles. Using the iCloud to switch between devices is amazing!

Ive played the original game when I was kid in the nineties and I loved it then as much as I do now. After playing the iOS version through too completion twice now I have to admit this game its near flawless, in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, I still hold the original game in very high regard but its nice to have an updated version thats a sight for sore eyes. The first thing that captured my attention in the iOS version was the crisp, vibrant colors. It really brings the game to life apart from the duller nineties version. I also liked the recap or summary of each chapter in the Configuration menu. It helps you stay fresh on where youre at in the story and how much of the story is left to complete. The controls seem a little clunky and take some getting used to, but thats only minor a annoyance. Overall Id grade this version 4.8 out of 5 stars. Its not perfect but its close. I know the fan boys and three traditionalists are going hate but haters gonna hate. If youre wondering whether or not you should buy this game then I promise you can take my word for it. Youll love this game, especially if youre already familiar with the genre and series.

Not only are the levels incredibly difficult to navigate because the walls are all crooked and jagged, but the save points are STUPIDLY far apart to the point where its incredibly frustrating to play. If you screw up one battle, you get set back 2+ hours of gameplay! Who decided this was one of the greatest RPGs of all time?

I tried. I really tried. But the controls are just too bad. Youll activate things on accident. Anything that requires dexterity is impossible. Why a simple "touch to go here" option or even a simple, anchored D-Pad werent implemented is beyond me. And the worst part, this is my favorite game of all time and the controls wont let me play it. Save your money and by 15 games that are actually playable.

Ive been wanting to play a JRPG for a while and everywhere I looked Final Fantasy VI came up, so I decided to give it a try. I know a lot of people are complaining about the controls so Im not going to talk about that. The story is one of the best Ive ever experienced and I still think about it months after I completed it. The characters are charming and unforgettable. The secret items you can find are amazing! I found myself asking how I would be able to beat the game without them. As most JRPGs require you to grind for xp for hours, Final Fantasy VI has you level up as youre approaching the next boss so that you are strong enough to beat it on your first or second try. Except for the end, youll need to level up a bit on your own time. It was a really enjoyable and immersive experience. I recommend that everyone that enjoys video games play this masterpiece as soon as possible.

I forgot how much I loved the jrpg games! This game brings me back to my childhood, with upgraded graphics and sound. Everyone should give this game a go, its the game that started a jrpg revolution in North America.

There are language problem with ios 9.0. My language setting is Korean but after update OS, i cant play the game with Korean. Just English version. Please fit it and update it!

But I have one small issue with it. The Cloud server. The whole time Ive been playing on an old device, I never knew that you had to manually save it to the Cloud and lost all my progress. Can you guys update and let us recover old saves and autosave to the Cloud from now on?

This is the best game and RPG ever created! I have the original and still love it to this day. I havent even played this Mobil version . I just bought it out of support. This game is way better than FF7 and any other FF. The story is the best and evil actually won....for a bit lol
