This is a masterful port of a true classic. The design just drips with the love and attention to detail of the people making it. The graphics have been updated without it looking like a completely different game, the changes to the battle interface are innovative, and the game makes great use of the touch screen without being intrusive or clunky. Overall, an excellent game and well worth the asking price!

Excellent port, except for the controls. Theyre not very responsive and it is very awkward to move around. (iphone 5s)

I started playing this game when I was 10 years old - final fantasy III for snes. I never beat it then but I just beat it tonight at 30 years old. Took me 20 years...right on the time of the 20th anniversary. Gave me goosebumps :) This game hits your emotions. A Masterpiece.

The death trick still doesnt work on the Intanglr. Please for the love of god fix this

Couldnt be much nicer. A few boys of polish here and there. Shadow looks like hes sporting a fine pair of double or maybe triple Ds, which is odd. But mostly the new update has made the game default back to 8 direction controls. Everything I load my game, it goes back to 8, which is a pain to play with. Im not sure why FF5s control scheme wasnt copied, it was the only iOS FF game with perfect controls.

To the idiot who posted about Intangir, its already fixed. The instant death "trick" was actually a glitch that was corrected in the Advance port and obviously this one as well. Quit giving low ratings to great games because you cant cheat your way through it. Great port, though controls could use a bit of work. Id buy again in a heartbeat, such a classic with updates spell and animation effects.

I am enjoying this game, I love the simple story and the humor in this game! I love each of the characters and their goofy sides. My favorite parts are the funny parts! However, I am having problems with the game crashing lately. It hasnt done that before, I am not sure if its because I got to the floating continent and it started crashing there, or if its the most recent update (as of May 31,2014). I am currently playing on an iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.1, and the game keeps crashing. It is kind of frustrating because I feel like Im nearing the final stages of this game and I would like to finish it, but I cant due to the constant crashing. I Guess I will have to put this story on hold until the crashing gets fixed.

After I walk out of the room with the treasure in hand Im confronted by kefkas followers, the movement icon doesnt reappear. Other than that, game is a 10!

Love it! Best JRPG ever in my opinion and still stands up as one of the greatest games ever produced. Wish Square could still pump out games of this caliber

Its an absolutely game. I would recommend Final Fantasy V over this because 5 has a better job system, but you cant go wrong with either. Buy one as these are classic games for a reason. They are beautiful and addicting games that will keep you happy for tens of hours

The new directional pad is terrible. It feels really clunky and slow. Now that its a solid colour, it blocks the screen and makes it difficult to navigate.

In think theres a big miss by not including the language option within the app itself. I want to play the game in English, even though my iPad is in French... Need to change the language every time! #FrustrationForBasicOption

When fighting an enemy the character options sit low on the screen and its very difficult to select items on the iPhone6. Optimize please.

Bought this at $7.99, and I feel like Im stealing from Square on this lol. An absolute classic and worth the purchase!

So this is the greatest game of all time. Now its on mobile as the improved GBA version. They also made the graphics a bit better here and there. So if youve beaten it before, its the same game. If not SHAME ON YOU. Play this game, dont be weak.

is it just me? or the transparencies of when your walking in the forest isnt working, all I see is the character walking over 2d tree in background.. beside that its reat to be able to play this tittle again.. plus the battle system is nice.
